Protection, reimagined around you.

Gem helps you understand what could disrupt your financial stability and what to do about it.

Protect what matters.

Meet Gem.

Your financial protection partner.

Gem asks about your work and the people you look after. Then it gives you a straight answer. Sometimes the answer isn’t insurance at all.

Simple from the start.

  1. Chat with Gem. Tell it about your work and the people you look after.
  2. Get the right cover. Small weekly payments. Stop any time.
  3. Something happened? Tell Gem. A person checks every claim, and the insurer pays.

Gem stays after the claim.

When something happens, Gem gets calm and short. It asks for one thing at a time and tells you why. A real person on our team checks every claim before it goes to the insurer. Then Gem keeps you updated without being asked.

A real person checks every claim.

A Protect me button, in any app.

Your users get the right cover in one tap. Gem runs the rest: advice, payments, claims and check-ins.

Questions, answered.

What is Gem?

Gem asks about your work and the people you look after, then helps you understand what could disrupt your financial stability and what to do about it.

Does it cost anything to chat with Gem?

No. Talking to Gem is free. You only pay if you choose cover.

When can I use it?

Soon, across Nigeria. Join the waitlist and we’ll message you on WhatsApp when Gem is ready for you.

Is it safe?

Gem will never ask for your PIN, OTP or card details in chat. We only message you from our verified WhatsApp account. If anyone asks for those, it isn’t us.

Will Gem just try to sell me something?

No. Gem looks at what you already have, like family support or cover through work, and focuses on what’s missing. The answer isn’t always insurance: it can be a plan, savings or access to care.

How do I pay?

In small weekly payments. Gem reminds you before each one.

Can I stop?

Yes, any time. Tell Gem you want to stop. It asks once why, then confirms what ends and when.

What happens when something goes wrong?

Tell Gem “something happened”. It asks for what’s needed, one thing at a time, like a photo of a hospital note. A real person on our team checks every claim, then the insurer decides and pays. Gem updates you at every step.

Who actually pays my claim?

A licensed insurer. Gem tells you which one before you pay, and any time you ask.

Who sees what I tell Gem?

Our team and the insurer, only to give you cover and handle claims. If you came through an app like a delivery platform, that app sees totals, never your name or your messages.
