These terms cover this website, gemynate.com, and the waitlist you can join here. They do not cover the Gemynate product itself, because the product has not launched yet. When it does, it will come with its own terms, and you will be able to read and accept them before using anything. By using this site, you agree to the terms below.
What this site is, and is not
Gemynate is a pre-launch company building financial protection for people in Nigeria's informal economy. This website exists to explain what we are working on and to let you register your interest.
To be completely clear:
- No financial services are provided through this site. There are no payments, no accounts, no coverage, and no protection products available here today.
- Nothing on this site is an offer, an invitation to buy, or a financial promotion of any regulated product or service.
- Descriptions of what Gemynate is building are statements of intent about a future product. Details may change before launch, and content on this site is not financial, legal, or investment advice.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and open to anyone aged 18 or over. When you join:
- You agree to give us accurate details and to submit your own information, not someone else's.
- We will keep you updated and contact you when we launch, by email and, if you shared a WhatsApp number, on WhatsApp.
- A place on the waitlist is not a contract for any product and does not guarantee access, pricing, coverage, or launch timing.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing hello@gemynate.com, and we will remove your details.
How we handle the information you share is described in our Privacy Policy.
Using this site fairly
Please do not misuse the site. That means no attempts to break, probe, or overload it, no submitting false or automated waitlist entries, no scraping personal data, and no using the site for anything unlawful.
Our content
The Gemynate name, wordmark, and everything on this site, including text, design, and imagery, belong to Gemynate or our licensors. You are welcome to share links to the site. Please do not copy, reuse, or modify our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Third-party services
This site runs on services provided by others, including Netlify for hosting and forms and Google Analytics for analytics, and it may link out to third-party platforms such as WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms and we are not responsible for them.
No warranties, limited liability
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or take down the site or the waitlist at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Gemynate is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute about them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
